Oh, how I love awards season! Sunday night’s SAG Awards was a fun show – congratulations to all the winners! The red carpet this year wasn’t our favorite (we definitely preferred the Globes,) but like always, there were a handful of standout showstoppers. Jewel tones & brights seemed to reign (spring is near…) and if it wasn’t magnificent blues and fuchsia delights – then it was the total opposite…understated neutrals and chic shades of grey, black and ivory. Check out some of our favorite style stars…

The Help star never disappoints – she was a vision in bold blue and how about those earrings? Sensational!

Sofia is the epitome of Hollywood glamour. She’s sexy, vivacious and has the red carpet pose down to a science. Her jewelry was my favorite of the night! But I do have to mention…while the dress, jewels, her hair & makeup were nearly flawless – why that bag? The touch of turquoise threw off the look a bit….but we love her anyway!

Also in a gorgeous shade of deep pinkish red, this silhouette seems to be a recurring trend. I like it and Natalie’s jewelry was the perfect accent.

And Emily Blunt’s emerald number was nothing short of fabulous – what a fresh color.

Lea Michel’s dusty grey ensemble was understated in color but WOW in silhouette.

We loved Kristen Wiig’s modern and fresh Balenciaga choice but the Fred Leigthon collar was all wrong for the dress.

We have to give Rose Byrne a shout out for her super 70’s jumpsuit moment. She totally pulled it off – what do you think?

We also must note – “Glee” star Jayma Mays in sparkling sequins, Emma Stone for playing with fashion & a courageous McQueen moment, Amber Heard in classic but seriously sexy black, The Artist’s Berenice Bejo in a gorgeous Ralph Lauren Collection beaded confection and a Chopard “Y” necklace that worked so well with her neckline & Kyra Sedgwick in show stopping red! Glenn Close carried herself beautifully and that rouched sleeve was the perfect way to cover the arm.  She looked amazing! Octavia Spencer was also stunning – she wore the perfect color & silhouette and by sweeping up her hair in that gorgeous 60’s do, she could show off her lovely Irene Neuwirth earrings! I loved Tina Fey, too – great dress and a killer pair of earrings! And we all know a good red carpet moment is about how your jewels are displayed…

What were your favorite red carpet moments of Sunday’s SAG Awards? Stay tuned because in our next post we’ll show you how to get the stars’ look with some Fragments jewels!!
